The goal of STEM³ Academy elementary school is to nourish the potential of our students to accomplish great things, to cultivate a love of learning and to encourage exploration of the world around them. Through play and fun-based activities, students develop relationships with others and prepare the foundation for the greater responsibilities that await them in middle school.
Young children are natural scientists, engineers and problem-solvers. Naturally, they explore the world by touching, tasting, building, dismantling and discovering. STEM³ Academy elementary school years are a time for exploration and engagement. Also, we focus on cultivating a love of learning. Our program satisfying the child’s boundless curiosity and need to find out how things work. In the lower grades, the Innovation Lab focuses on basic skills of building and making.
There are significant advantages to providing our students with an integrated curriculum from kindergarten through high school. Not only can students accelerate in certain areas as needed, they can collaborate on projects and activities. The ability to design and oversee the curriculum for the entirety of a student’s K-12 educational journey, ensures a consistency of approach, pieces of a whole that fit seamlessly together.
