Camp Descriptions

Engineering & Design

Are you an adventurer or an explorer? Do you wonder how to harness the power of the sun, to make a solar car, or a solar oven? Let’s build a movable bridge using pneumatics, or design and construct an entire digital world in Minecraft! Use your knowledge of coding, or learn a language, and program robots to function autonomously! Use 3D design software to give shape to your ideas and then print them out on our own 3D printer. Bring your eagerness to make, build, and do, and let’s have some fun!

Technology, Art, & Design

Do you like to explore technology, paint, or sculpt? Are you interested in digital animation, in making a cartoon, or in game design? You are? Then this is for you! Work on a Calder mobile where balance and proportion are everything, or on a collage. Design a character for a game or an app for your phone or manipulate an image in Photoshop. We’ll also work with dyes, glues, and paints to color masks made from paper mache’. Make a mask of your own face or of something much scarier! Bring your enthusiasm—we’ll provide the rest!
