Top engineers from STEM3 Academy’s corporate partner Northrop Grumman shared their perspective on problem solving with Timothy Eaton’s Engineering & Design class in March 2019.
Getting to a solution requires evaluating the complexities you have to start, communicating with team members, adding factual information, personal insight and critical thinking, and working through possible solutions till you reach the desired outcome. Students saw immediate application to their robotics work and to programming/coding. They are staying tuned for a return visit when our speakers will conduct a master class in the related topic of Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action.
